Water sports available at the yacht marina and beaches include sailing, fishing, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing and jet ski-ing. Mas Pinell is the main beach stretching for a seemingly endless 3,100 metres of fine sand. Facilities here include bars and restaurants, sun beds and shades for hire, showers and access for wheelchairs. The beach is cleaned regularly and patrolled by lifeguards and the police. The smaller Estartit Beach, flanked by the seafront promenade, is 925 metres long and similarly well served with all the usual tourist facilities.
